Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar clinches.
Edgar is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Buckley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Buckley has Edgar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Edgar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Buckley gets control of Edgar's arms and successfully pulls guard. Buckley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Edgar throws an elbow that misses. Buckley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Edgar's guard. Nice move by Buckley!

Edgar working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Buckley has passed into half guard!

Buckley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Edgar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Buckley.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Buckley connects with a nice short shot to Edgar's temple.

Buckley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Buckley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Buckley shoots for a takedown but Edgar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Buckley counters with a takedown into side control.
Edgar tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Buckley is punishing Edgar with some ground and pound.
Buckley is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Buckley gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Buckley gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Buckley apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Edgar has Buckley up against the cage in a clinch.
Buckley wants the takedown. Edgar is fighting it off but Buckley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Edgar's guard against the cage.

Buckley gets to his feet. Edgar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Buckley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edgar tries to avoid it but Buckley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edgar to the ground. Edgar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Buckley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Edgar looks calm but he's in trouble here. Buckley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Edgar is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Buckley lets go of the hold and Edgar can pop his arm back in it's socket.
