Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrus Loman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tyrus Loman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abdul Tucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyrus Loman! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loman throws a body shot but no joy. Loman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Loman is looking to take a break and control but Tucker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Loman controlling the pace. Loman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tucker's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tucker wants to get back to full guard. Loman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Loman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tucker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Loman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tucker sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loman looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Tucker wants to get back to full guard. Tucker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Loman scores with a couple of nice shots. Loman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tucker has managed to free his arm - good work. Loman wants to free his trapped foot but Tucker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tucker gets back to full guard.
Loman stands and throws Tucker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loman working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Tucker on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
It looks like Abdul Tucker has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Loman trying to control the action but Tucker is working from the bottom. Loman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Loman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tucker is trying to escape and Loman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tucker is forced to tap! Nice work there by Loman! Very nice indeed!
