Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hannibal Lecter!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgenii Mamchenko!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamchenko slips under a jab.
Lecter throws a poor cross that misses
and Mamchenko counters with a single leg into guard. Lecter didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamchenko wants to control from the top but Lecter keeps moving.
Lecter is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Holding Cell that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Mamchenko postures up in Lecter's guard and throws a big left but Lecter blocks it.
Lecter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mamchenko defends it easily.
Mamchenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Lecter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mamchenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lecter is keeping the position for now.
Mamchenko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lecter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lecter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mamchenko is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mamchenko stands and throws Lecter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lecter manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Lecter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mamchenko is working away from the top position though.
Mamchenko wants to control but Lecter is keeping him busy.
Mamchenko is looking for a kimura but Lecter is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mamchenko to get the leverage.
Mamchenko maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lecter could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mamchenko has cracked it and Lecter is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mamchenko!

Evgenii Mamchenko really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sun-Tzu logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Hannibal Lecter was interviewed post fight and said 'i think he put his finger up my bum'.
