The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
ramorez misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
ramorez is looking to clinch.

tito ramorez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? ramorez is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, ramorez circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Smith looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Smith wants to finish this one by submission but ramorez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smith.
Smith prevents ramorez from getting the reversal.

Smith jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but ramorez manages to avoid the submission attempt.
ramorez tries to buck Smith off but Smith is having none of it.
Smith has an Americana. ramorez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
