Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Murs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jiujitsu freak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Forrest Murs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, jiujitsu freak! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Murs or perhaps it was just good defense by freak which made him look bad. Murs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. freak looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The fighters circling - Murs throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Murs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but freak moves out of range and avoids them all easily. freak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Murs lunges at freak with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by freak's hand. freak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. freak has hold of Murs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Murs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's one minute gone in the round. freak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by freak. freak controlling the position easily from mount. freak lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Murs tries to reverse the position but freak maintains control. freak lands a big shot there that rocks Murs but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
freak landing strikes, looking to finish! freak wants to finish this one by submission but Murs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from freak. freak jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Murs manages to avoid the submission attempt. freak looks gassed! Murs manages to work his way to half guard, despite freak's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. freak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. freak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Murs does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Murs looks like he's trying to stand up.
Murs regains full guard. Nicely done. freak scoring with some ground and pound. Murs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. freak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. freak manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Murs working for a triangle but freak defends it easily.
Murs looking for a sweep. Not yet Murs, not yet. freak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. freak trying to control but Murs is working from the bottom. Murs has his foot on freak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. freak works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. freak passes Murs's left leg - he's now in half guard. freak winds up and cracks Murs with a swinging punch to the side of the head. freak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time freak. Murs wants to improve his position but freak is controlling well.
freak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Murs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. freak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Murs defending well though. freak wants to take a breather but Murs is having none of it. Murs looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murs tries to get to full guard but freak has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. freak prevents Murs from standing back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. freak scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Murs manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. freak prevents Murs from improving his position. freak trying to pass the guard but Murs defending well. freak trying to advance position but Murs counters by regaining guard. Murs has momentary wrist control but freak slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Murs keeping moving, preventing freak from controlling successfully. freak stops Murs from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jiujitsu freak dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
freak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. freak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. freak looking to pass the guard. Murs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Murs can't keep his opponent in guard - freak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Murs is trying to control but can't.
freak is breathing heavily. Murs keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. freak misses with a head shot. Murs uses the momentum to regain guard. Murs trying to control the position.
freak stops Murs from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. freak working some strikes from top position. freak in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. freak preventing the sweep.

Murs wants to stand but freak has a closed guard, so he can't escape. freak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Murs is one step ahead there. Murs is looking to stand up but freak won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. freak manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
freak is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murs can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

jiujitsu freak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Murs throws a right and a left that both miss. freak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. freak cracks Murs with a big elbow. freak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murs keeps working. freak cracks Murs with a big right hand but Murs just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

After a battle for position, freak asserts his dominance and retains side control. freak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Murs is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ooooh, that looks tight… Murs is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Murs and freak has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. freak takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Forrest Murs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Murs tests freak's chin there with a solid looking shot. A swing and a miss from Murs. freak throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Murs to counter with a crisp jab. Murs with a poor takedown so freak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. freak advances position into side control! Murs tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murs is working hard here to advance position. freak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murs keeps working. freak landing strikes. freak lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. freak misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Murs throws a right and a left that freak avoids nicely. Forrest Murs has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! jiujitsu freak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. freak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! jiujitsu freak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got freak winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
