Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
79 - 45 - 7, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Felipe Calderon! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calderon gets off balance looking for a body kick and Bomb counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bomb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bomb lunges at Calderon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Calderon's hand. No luck with that takedown attempt from Calderon. Calderon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice straight punches there by Bomb. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bomb. Bomb staying out of range there. Bomb lands a head kick!
Calderon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bomb's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Calderon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bomb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Calderon has Bomb in his guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Bomb controlling the action here. Bomb has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bomb passes into side control, despite Calderon's attempt to control the position.
Bomb is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Calderon's shoulder. That is not cool. Calderon tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calderon can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You can see the frustration on Calderon's face as Bomb controls the position. Calderon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bomb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bomb slows the pace down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bomb dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Calderon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bomb tries to land a front kick but Calderon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bomb misses with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bomb defending well as Calderon loads up on a big left hand. Calderon has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Calderon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bomb but Bomb pushes him off and we're back to square one. An inside leg kick lands from Calderon. Felipe Calderon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Calderon with that takedown attempt. Bomb tries to close the distance and clinch up but Calderon swats him away and circles back towards the center. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Calderon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bomb - the referee stops the clock and Calderon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bomb. Calderon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bomb misses with a head kick.
Bomb wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Calderon is breathing heavily. Good exchange - Calderon coming out on top. Calderon throws a jab but it's blocked by Bomb. Bomb throwing a counter right hand but Calderon manages to avoid it. Bomb swinging wildly here.
Calderon shoots in but no luck this time. An attempted straight right counter from Bomb misses the target. James Bomb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Calderon. Calderon closes the distance and clinches up with Bomb, looking for a takedown. Calderon pushes Bomb against the cage but Bomb circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bomb is looking to counter punch. Bomb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Calderon can do to turn this around? Bomb catches Calderon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Calderon throws a head kick that misses. A decent looking body kick lands there for Bomb. Calderon walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bomb. James Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice uppercut lands for Bomb. That snapped Calderon's head back.

Calderon walks into a stiff left hand from Bomb. Calderon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bomb counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Calderon thinking. Bomb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bomb lands a big head kick that sends Calderon tumbling to the mat! Bomb takes a step backwards and waves Calderon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Calderon is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Bomb ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Calderon clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
