Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iswan Dono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Iswan Dono! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Dono moves out of range easily. Dono throws a fast counter high kick but Williams manages to duck under it in time. Williams chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Ken Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Dono counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A thudding body kick lands there by Williams!

Dono is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. A head kick misses from Williams. Dono looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Dono throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily. Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Dono moves out of range easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dono moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Dono throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily. Williams tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dono manages to circle out of the way. Nice defenses there by Williams. Williams misses with a head kick.

Dono throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Williams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Iswan Dono will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dono is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Williams connects with a jab. Iswan Dono seems to be getting the better of the standup. Williams throws a series of punches but Dono moves out of range. It seemed like Dono was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dono will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Williams is looking to counter with head kicks. Dono tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Williams thinks about countering with a head kick. Williams swings widly with a right hand
and Dono cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ken Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A big right from Dono misses. Williams throws the kick towards the body but Dono avoids it. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Dono in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Dono blocks a head kick by Williams.

Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little jabbing left from Dono on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Williams uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dono. Williams connects with an inside leg kick. A jab lands there for Williams. Williams lands with a kick to the temple. Dono shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Dono lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams throws a lazy head kick and Dono counters with a nice low kick that buckles Williams's knee momentarily. A head kick misses from Williams. Dono tries a head kick but it misses.
Dono's corner calls for a 1-2. Dono obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ken Williams will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice inside leg kick there by Dono. That's going to slow Williams down.

Dono tries to work over Williams's front leg with a kick but Williams checks it. Dono cracks Williams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dono rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Dono ducks under a wild hook from Williams. Dono looks like he wants to counter punch here. Williams connects with a solid leg kick. Williams on the wrong end of a nice hook. Williams throws a lazy head kick and Dono counters with a lovely straight right hand! Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dono. A head kick misses from Williams.
And that's the end of the fight! Iswan Dono comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dono has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
