Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Evgeniy Cirfych! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emerson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Cirfych darts in and clinches Emerson up against the cage. Cirfych misses with some punches.
Cirfych breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cirfych avoids the head kick by Emerson.
Emerson takes the fight into the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Cirfych scores with a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cirfych successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cirfych looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Robin Emerson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Emerson throws a right hand that Cirfych ducks under and follows up with a left that Cirfych also avoids with ease. Cirfych swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Cirfych shoots in and bounces Emerson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Emerson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cirfych manages to pass to side control.

Emerson is breathing heavily. Cirfych is fighting to break Emerson's control of his arms but Emerson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Emerson really is a fat lump.

That was a close round but I would say that Robin Emerson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Emerson closes the distance but Cirfych moves to the side and Cirfych counters with a takedown into side control. Emerson wants to control but Cirfych postures up. Cirfych thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Emerson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cirfych has just dragged him back down to the mat. Cirfych working the body and head with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emerson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emerson keeps control of the position for the meantime. Emerson wants to control but Cirfych is keeping busy and won't allow it. Emerson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Emerson is controlling Cirfych's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cirfych tries to pass the half guard into mount. Emerson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Emerson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Emerson. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Emerson doesn't manage to clinch there - Cirfych circles away.

Emerson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Evgeniy Cirfych has got the better of the ground game so far. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cirfych working for a triangle but Emerson defends it easily.
Emerson postures up and lands a big shot to Cirfych's brow. Emerson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Emerson stopping the sweep attempt from Cirfych. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Emerson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Robin Emerson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Cirfych wants to take the fight to the mat but Emerson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three minutes gone in the round. Emerson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Emerson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

And that's the end of the fight! Robin Emerson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Emerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
