4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Johnson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swaggy P catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are battling for position here. Swaggy P manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Swaggy P is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson is in close to Swaggy P's body, working some short punches and elbows. Swaggy P utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Swaggy P is rocked! Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swaggy P has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Swaggy P's legs - danger averted. Swaggy P isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Johnson stacks Swaggy P on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Johnson!
