Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rhys Duch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mateusz Filakis!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filakis connects with a leg kick. Duch looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Filakis lands a jab to Duch's midsection.
Filakis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Filakis misses with a body kick.
A head kick misses from Duch.
Filakis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Duch.
It looks like Rhys Duch has been cut.
Filakis connects with an inside leg kick.
Filakis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Filakis duly obliges.
Filakis throws a series of punches but Duch avoids them all with ease.
Duch wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Filakis scores with a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Filakis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Filakis swats away the attempt to clinch by Duch.
Filakis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Duch takes a step back to recover.

Duch dives in and grabs Filakis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Filakis pushes down on Duch's head and hops out.
Filakis lands a big right hand that sends Duch crashing to the mat! Filakis stays standing though and waves Duch back to his feet!
Duch is rocked!
Filakis throws a quick inside leg kick.
Oh Duch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Filakis lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Duch crumples to the floor! Filakis milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mateusz Filakis!
Our winner, Mateusz Filakis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
