Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edvin Wasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Jee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cock sparrer - Take 'em all. Jee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get The Funk Out Of My Face kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edvin Wasa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Jee! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wasa.
Wasa throws a right and a left that Jee avoids nicely. Wasa looks to land a right hand but Jee moved out of range. Jee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. No joy there for Wasa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wasa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jee sprawls well initially but Wasa persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wasa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wasa postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jee to stand up. Wasa shoots in and bounces Jee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wasa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jee is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasa wanted to stand there but Jee had control of the position. Jee keeping moving, preventing Wasa from controlling successfully. That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Wasa. Jee looks gassed! Wasa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wasa closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wasa throws a series of punches but Jee moves out of range. A jab lands there for Wasa. Wasa shoots for a takedown but Jee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wasa's corner calls for a 1-2. Wasa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wasa is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jee throws a sloppy head kick and Wasa moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edvin Wasa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wasa throws a big shot that misses. Jee throws a nice looking combination but Wasa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wasa is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wasa waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jee. Wasa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jee. Jee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wasa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wasa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jee throws a front kick aimed at Wasa's knee but Wasa avoids it well. Jee ducks under a wild hook from Wasa. Jee is breathing heavily. Wasa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jee. Jee ducks under a wild hook from Wasa. Jee blocks a jab. Jee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wasa scores with a jab to the jaw. Wasa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jee can do to turn this around? Wasa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jee moves away. Jee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wasa. Wasa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jee's head. Edvin Wasa is winning the standup battle so far. Wasa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Karl Jee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wasa scores with a nice strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wasa shoots in and drives through. Jee sprawls well. Wasa throws a big shot that misses. Wasa misses the jab. Wasa shoots in for a takedown but Jee shows good takedown defense. Edvin Wasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wasa throws a right and a left that Jee avoids nicely. Wasa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jee.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jee thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wasa if he has to take too many more of those.
A big right from Wasa misses. Jee moves out of range as Wasa strikes. Wasa swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Wasa is taking a breather. Jee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Wasa tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jee.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wasa is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Edvin Wasa just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Wasa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Karl Jee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wasa shoots and misses and Jee finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Karl Jee. I think Wasa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
