Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zulu Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Even Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Steven's choice of entrance music: Bodies Hit the Floor. Even Steven has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Zulu as Steven shoots in.
Zulu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Steven counters with a left and a right that stings Zulu.
Zulu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Zulu wants to get up but he can't break Steven's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Zulu wants to stand but Steven is controlling his posture from full guard.

Steven is working Zulu over with some ground and pound from side control.
Steven decides to stand back up.
Zulu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Steven throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Zulu clinches but Steven breaks the clinch
and Steven counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zulu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steven controls the pace.
Steven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zulu swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Even Steven dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zulu wants to get back to striking at distance but Steven won't allow it.
Zulu is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Steven escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Steven counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zulu wants to sweep here but Steven controlling him for the moment.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steven is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Steven lands with a kick to the ribs.
Zulu clinches but Steven breaks the clinch
and Steven counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steven.
Zulu is looking to stand up but Steven isn't so interested in that idea.
Zulu could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Steven stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Zulu dodges the punch combination from Steven.
Zulu closes the distance and clinches.
Steven goes for a takedown attempt but Zulu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Zulu clinches with his opponent.
Zulu lands an elbow just above Steven 's eye.
Zulu gets underhooks to prevent Steven's takedown attempt.
Zulu unloads a knee to the mid-section. Steven lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Steven takes a knee right on the jaw!
Zulu lands an elbow inside that Steven shrugs off.
Zulu slowing the pace effectively.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Steven wants to break the clinch but can't.
Steven drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zulu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Zulu Zulu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Even Steven.
Zulu lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zulu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Steven shoots in and bounces Zulu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Steven tries to free his leg and advance position but Zulu is retaining full guard.
Zulu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Steven advances position into side control!
You can see the frustration on Zulu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Even Steven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Steven counters by moving into the clinch.
The referee calls for Steven to work.
Steven wants the takedown. Zulu is fighting it off but Steven persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Zulu's guard against the cage.
Zulu is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Steven dives into side control.
Zulu on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Zulu is trying to get back to his feet.
Steven in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Steven decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Zulu tries to land knees in the clinch but Steven avoids the damage to the body.
Steven fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Zulu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zulu is trying to drag Steven to the mat but Steven just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Steven has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zulu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Zulu has had enough of the clinch but Steven keeps him there for the moment.
Steven wants to break free but Zulu has control.
Steven is trying to drag Zulu to the mat but Zulu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Zulu Zulu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Even Steven.
Steven jumps guard but Zulu stands there with Steven around his waist. Steven gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Zulu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Steven tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Zulu looks to land a body kick but Steven moved away.
Steven swats away the attempt to clinch by Zulu.
Steven shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zulu pinned against the cage. Zulu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Steven looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zulu wants to clinch
and Steven counters with a shoot takedown. Zulu fights it but they end up in guard.
Steven stops Zulu from standing up.
Steven drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Zulu dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Zulu Zulu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Even Steven is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Steven pulls Zulu in close to prevent any damage.

Even Steven comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
