Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzoi Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renzoi Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Renzoi Gracie! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kingston. Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kingston. Kingston tries to counter with a takedown but Gracie is quick to defend against it. Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kingston swivels and escapes. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gracie tries for a takedown but Kingston circles away easily and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kingston takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kingston feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Kingston changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gracie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kingston is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows. Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kingston is aware though and is defending well. Kingston is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kingston distracts Gracie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie controls Kingston momentarily but Kingston frees himself. Kingston trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Kingston trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kingston in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kingston throws a big right hand that misses. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kingston working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingston wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Kingston throws a big right hand that misses. Kingston is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kingston trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Kingston with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kingston connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kingston defends it easily. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Kingston will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A low kick from Gracie misses and Kingston counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that. Kingston connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gracie some visible discomfort.

Gracie is looking for a sweep. Kingston trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie struggling a bit here. Kingston looks up at the clock and then as Gracie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kingston smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
