Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liber Alderich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alderich's entrance music is Remember the name. A fine choice. McGuire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Five Finger Death Punch - Jekyll And Hyde. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from McGuire. Alderich does a little dance to reset his feet.

McGuire's coach down at River's Edge Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McGuire's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Alderich has his foot on McGuire's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGuire works his way back into a safe position though.

McGuire got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alderich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGuire has managed to get both his arms back between Alderich's legs - danger averted.

Oh but Alderich is tightening it up a little... McGuire has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McGuire reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McGuire taps out! Nice BJJ there by Alderich!
