Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slimbo Kice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kice fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Kice persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kice lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kice connects with a nice short shot to Gracie's temple.
Gracie on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kice is pressing down on Gracie's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gracie is holding on for now.
Kice lands strikes from half guard.
Kice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kice lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Gracie won't allow Kice to pass to mount.
Kice is nestled in close to Gracie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kice tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kice scores with a big shot! Gracie's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gracie! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
