Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Baun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baun has chosen 50 Mission Cap - Tragically Hip as his entrance music. Adam Mica had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica tries to bum rush Baun with a series of wild strikes but Baun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Baun.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mica!
It looks like Bob Baun has been cut.
Mica misses with a wild combination.
Mica stuffs the takedown attempt from Baun. Baun gets slowly back to his feet.
Mica lands the left hand.
Baun walks into a jab.
Baun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mica tries to avoid it but Baun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mica to the ground. Mica escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Adam Mica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Baun.

Mica throws an overhand right that lands on Baun's shoulder, as Baun tries to avoid the shot.

Baun gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice takedown defense from Mica. No joy for Baun on that attempt.
Mica keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mica tries to land a front kick but Baun steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mica looks to throw the jab but Baun is out of range.
Baun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mica defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Baun.
Mica on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mica tries to get out of the position.
Baun unloads with some shots from mount but Mica bucks and avoids them well.
Mica is looking to get to half guard.

Baun wants to finish this one by submission but Mica is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Baun.
Baun stands up from mount. Strange move.
Baun looks gassed!
Baun checks a low kick from Mica.
Mica throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baun closes the distance and pushes Mica back into the cage.
Mica is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Baun gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mica regains guard.
Mica looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baun is one step ahead there.
Mica keeping moving, preventing Baun from controlling successfully.

Baun thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Baun passes into half guard.
Mica knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baun on the ground.
Baun is thwarting Mica's attempts to control the position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mica gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Baun decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mica, up you get!
Baun looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mica is fending him off so far but Baun persists. Nope, Mica circles away and we're back to standing.
Adam Mica is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mica rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mica keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mica misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mica throws a looping overhand right but Baun ducks down to avoid it.
Baun looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mica!
Baun has hold of Mica's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mica manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mica really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Baun with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mica tries to lock up and control but Baun gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baun is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Baun extends the arm and Mica is forced to tap!
