Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen Fat Lip as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ceasar Morgan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nick Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Evans sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Evans throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Morgan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evans defends it nicely. Morgan looks for a takedown but Evans sprawls well. Nick Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceasar Morgan. Morgan darts in looking for a takedown but Evans gets double underhooks and turns Morgan into the cage. Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morgan manages to avoid it. Morgan's coach down at Death Valley Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Morgan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Evans throws a series of strikes that have Morgan backpedaling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Evans throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Morgan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Evans lands a lovely overhand right. No luck with that takedown attempt from Morgan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Evans's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Morgan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Evans is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Morgan tries for a kimura but Evans is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan wants to control but Evans is keeping him busy. Morgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Evans knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Evans is trying to control Morgan's posture but Morgan avoids it. Evans holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Morgan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Morgan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Morgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Evans knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Evans is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at DaJet Conditioning, Transition, Escape School, so we'll see if he gets out of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan wants to control but Evans is keeping him busy. Evans dodges the ground and pound from Morgan. Morgan throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Morgan. Evans is looking to regain half guard here but Morgan keeps moving and retains side control. Evans struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Evans keeps working. Morgan in side control, just content to control the action for now. Morgan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morgan is trying to get an arm triangle but Evans is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ceasar Morgan will probably get the nod. That's time! Evans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Morgan dives in for a single leg takedown but Evans sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Evans fires out a quick counter leg kick but Morgan just manages to avoid it. Evans works Morgan's body with a nice hook. Morgan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Morgan with a poor takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Nick Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceasar Morgan. Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown but Evans manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morgan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for Morgan on that attempt. Morgan gets a takedown into half guard. Evans gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Evans moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Evans keeping moving, preventing Morgan from controlling successfully. Evans pulls Morgan in to control the position. Ceasar Morgan has got the better of the ground game so far. Morgan throws a big right hand that misses. Morgan wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Morgan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Morgan drops back looking for a leg! Evans is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Evans manages to kick Morgan off! Morgan jumps back into Evans's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Evans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Evans has his hands on Morgan's head, controlling the position. Morgan forces his way into half guard. Evans tries to roll over but Morgan keeps him under control. Evans actively working from the bottom here. Evans regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Evans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morgan's guard. Evans won't allow Morgan to sweep him here. Morgan looking to control.
Morgan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evans controls the pace. Evans preventing the sweep. Morgan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Morgan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Evans has passed into side control.
Evans tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan is looking to reverse the position. Evans wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morgan, who protects the arm well. Evans trying to control the position but Morgan is working away. Evans is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Evans tries to move to mount but Morgan blocks the move with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Evans dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Morgan throws a leg kick but Evans moved away. Morgan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Evans lands a really nice looking cross but Morgan seems unphased.
Evans throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. Evans defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan tries to clinch but Evans moves out of range. A little feinted left hand from Evans on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Evans misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Morgan shoots in but no luck this time. Nick Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceasar Morgan. Morgan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Evans defends well and Morgan ends up having to push Evans into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Evans lands a nice leg kick that just misses Morgan's sensitive parts. Evans lands a head kick. Morgan smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Evans misses with the combination.
Evans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Morgan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nick Evans is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Morgan persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing. An attempted straight right counter from Evans misses the target. Evans gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Morgan to score an easy takedown into full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Evans is pulling down on Morgan's head to control his posture. Morgan wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Morgan pushes down on Evans's leg and manages to get into half guard. Morgan passes the guard and advances to mount! Evans bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Evans throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Morgan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Evans is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Evans trying to control but Morgan is working from the bottom. Evans controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans stays in close to Morgan's body and controls the position. Evans's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
