Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Rowlands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idris Omar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omar has chosen adu-kein scherz as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Rowlands! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Idris Omar! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowlands's corner calls for a 1-2. Rowlands obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Omar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Omar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rowlands circles away quickly and effectively. Omar feints and as Rowlands raises his hands in defense, Omar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rowlands is looking to stand up but Omar isn't so interested in that idea. Rowlands thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Rowlands keeping full guard, as Omar tries to pass. Rowlands has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Omar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Omar stands up from Rowlands's guard - Omar perhaps looking for a knockout. The fight moves into the clinch position. Rowlands stalls.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Omar just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rowlands's brow. Rowlands is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Rowlands turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Omar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rowlands not landing any meaningful shots this time. Omar tries to roll over but Rowlands keeps him under control. Omar manages to get to full guard.
Omar kicks Rowlands off and gets to his feet. Omar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rowlands parries the strikes from Omar easily there. Omar is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rowlands to escape.
Rowlands sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Omar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rowlands with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Omar throwing shots but Rowlands is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rowlands looks like he's trying to stand up.
Omar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Rowlands is breathing heavily. Omar looking to secure an arm triangle but Rowlands defends it well. Omar has hold of Rowlands's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rowlands manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rowlands slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rowlands pushes Omar off looking to stand but Omar dives back in and keeps control.
Omar is looking for a kimura but Rowlands is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Omar to get the leverage. Rowlands gets back to full guard.
Rowlands trying to keep a closed guard but Omar is proving a slippery customer.
Omar won't allow Rowlands to sweep him here. Omar looking to pass the guard. Rowlands preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rowlands keeping full guard, as Omar tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Omar swats away the attempt to clinch by Rowlands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rowlands falls off balance throwing a combination
and Omar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rowlands won't be happy with that. Omar throwing shots but missing, from side control. Rowlands is pushing Omar's head away, looking to escape. Omar manages to hold on to the position though. Omar tries to score with some ground and pound. Rowlands controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Omar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rowlands! Rowlands is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Omar landing punches. Rowlands is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Idris Omar dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Omar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rowlands's guard. Omar advances to half guard. Omar passes the guard and advances to mount! Omar throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Omar stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Lee Rowlands is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rowlands keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Omar. Omar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rowlands's waist but Rowlands gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Omar off to one side. Omar tries to close the distance and clinch but Rowlands swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Omar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rowlands darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Omar throws a head kick but Rowlands moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rowlands scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Omar throws a leg kick but Rowlands checks it. Rowlands gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rowlands managing to block the knees to the body from Omar.
Rowlands misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Omar.
Omar pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Rowlands works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Rowlands throws a big right hand that misses. Omar trying to strike off his back.
Rowlands preventing the sweep. Rowlands slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Omar wants to sweep but no luck. Idris Omar has got the better of the ground game so far. Rowlands trying to stand up but can't free himself from Omar's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Omar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rowlands pinned against the cage. Rowlands gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rowlands lands with a kick to the temple. Omar shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Omar plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Omar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Omar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Omar prevents Rowlands from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Omar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rowlands knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Omar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rowlands defending well though. Omar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rowlands sees it coming and defends easily. Omar passes to side control. Rowlands is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rowlands trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Omar moves to the back position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omar throwing sloppy strikes. Rowlands turns into Omar and is now in his guard.
Omar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rowlands trying to control the position from guard on top but Omar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rowlands has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Omar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rowlands stops Omar from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Idris Omar will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Omar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rowlands is fending him off so far but Omar persists. Nope, Rowlands circles away and we're back to standing. Rowlands tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Omar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rowlands tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Omar was well out of range. Poor timing from Rowlands. Rowlands fails in his attempt to clinch. Omar wants to clinch and Rowlands counters with a nice body shot. Rowlands wants to clinch and Omar counters with a three punch combo that has Rowlands backing up. Rowlands nods at Omar to acknowledge the strikes. Rowlands stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rowlands closes the distance and clinches up with Omar, looking for a takedown. Rowlands pushes Omar against the cage but Omar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Omar misses with a takedown attempt and Rowlands counters with a one-two to the body. Lee Rowlands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Idris Omar. Nice sprawl there from Rowlands as Omar shoots in. Rowlands closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rowlands moves into the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rowlands pulls guard. Omar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rowlands is keeping the position for now. Rowlands not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Omar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Omar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rowlands's head. Rowlands wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Omar is now in half guard. Omar wants to pass the guard but Rowlands is defending well. Omar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Omar escapes and gets back to his feet. Omar with a poor takedown and Rowlands makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rowlands closes the distance and clinches. Rowlands on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Omar breaks the clinch.
Omar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rowlands. Omar connects with a high kick. Rowlands tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Omar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Omar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rowlands regains half guard. Rowlands wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omar works his foot free and advances to mount. Poor strikes thrown by Omar there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Omar misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Idris Omar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rowlands is trying to escape the mount.
Omar controlling from the full mount. Rowlands wants to control but Omar is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Omar controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that Omar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rowlands is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Idris Omar. I've got Omar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
