9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Piet Kriel! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kriel on the wrong end of a nice hook. Draiman scores with a hook to the body. Kriel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kriel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Draiman clobbers Kriel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Draiman lands a nice hook to Kriel's body. Kriel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Draiman scores with a hook to the body. Kriel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kriel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Draiman lands with a hook. Kriel tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kriel misses with a takedown attempt letting Draiman counter with a right hand. Kriel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Draiman. Myles Draiman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Draiman digs a good hook to Kriel's body.
Draiman scores with the left hand. Kriel knows he should have avoided that one. Kriel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Draiman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Myles Draiman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piet Kriel. Draiman throws a series of strikes that have Kriel backpedaling.
Draiman connects with a single shot there. Draiman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draiman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kriel fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Draiman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kriel under the eye. Draiman with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice body punch from Draiman. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice cross by Draiman. Draiman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kriel pushes Draiman up against the cage in a clinch.

Draiman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kriel has Draiman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Draiman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Draiman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Draiman manages to break the clinch.
Draiman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A shot to the liver by Draiman. Beautiful body shot. Draiman lands with a shot to the body. Draiman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kriel takes one to the side of the head.

Draiman lands a glancing blow to the side of Kriel's head. Kriel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Draiman sprawls well. Draiman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kriel gets slowly back to his feet. Draiman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Draiman dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Draiman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Kriel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nice body punch from Draiman. A hook to the body from Draiman.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A right hook to the body lands for Draiman.

Kriel's coach down at Barbell Brigade was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kriel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Draiman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kriel or not. Draiman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Draiman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Draiman digs a good hook to Kriel's body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Draiman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kriel at a distance.
Kriel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Draiman works Kriel's body with a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myles Draiman dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Draiman lands a nice hook to Kriel's body. Kriel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Draiman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Draiman cracks a nice hook into Kriel's ribs. A shot to the body from Kriel misses letting Draiman counter with a right hand. Draiman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A jab from Draiman does it's job there. Kriel ducks right into an uppercut from Draiman. Kriel with a poor takedown and Draiman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Draiman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kriel doesn't seem bothered though. Kriel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kriel is breathing heavily. Draiman thuds his right hand into Kriel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Draiman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kriel can do to turn this around? Draiman lands with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kriel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Draiman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Draiman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kriel on the side of the head. Draiman lands with a nice body punch. Draiman jabs at Kriel's body. Kriel takes a jab right on the kisser.

Kriel is still on wobbly legs! Can Draiman finish him? Draiman lands a really nice looking cross but Kriel seems unphased.
Draiman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kriel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Draiman lands a nice shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Draiman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Draiman scores with a nice strike. Kriel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Draiman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Kriel falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Draiman wins by TKO!
