Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reuben Lowery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adel Sadeq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adel Sadeq is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adel Sadeq!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowery throws a head kick that half lands.
Sadeq looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sadeq fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lowery to the ground. Sadeq is now in Lowery's guard.

Lowery will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lowery has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee asks Lowery politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lowery prefers to stall for the moment though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sadeq parries the strikes from Lowery easily there. Lowery is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sadeq to escape.
Lowery looks up at the clock and then as Sadeq takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lowery smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lowery is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sadeq can do to turn this around?

Lowery feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sadeq is trying to maintain the position but Lowery is very close to passing his half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lowery is controlling an arm, preventing Sadeq from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Lowery is trying desperately to improve position.
Sadeq takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Adel Sadeq has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sadeq controlling the position well here. Lowery rolled but Sadeq kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Reuben Lowery is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lowery is trying to remain composed but Sadeq is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
