Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcan Branigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Dummy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcan Branigan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dummy misses with a wild body shot.
Branigan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dummy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dummy closes the distance but Branigan moves to the side

and Branigan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dummy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Branigan has passed into side control.
Dummy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dummy tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Branigan taking a breather here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dummy is trying to control Branigan's posture but Branigan avoids it.

Dummy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Branigan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Branigan is looking to clinch but Dummy is avoiding it.
Dummy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dummy fails in his attempt to clinch.

Branigan forces Dummy back against the cage and clinches.

Dummy manages to break the clinch.
Dummy misses with a takedown attempt

and Branigan counters by clinching up.
Branigan can't find room to land a body shot as Dummy controls the action.
Dummy fails to pull guard.
Branigan has Dummy pressed against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dummy tries for a takedown but Branigan manages to get underhooks.
Marcan Branigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Dummy.

Dummy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dummy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Branigan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Branigan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Branigan counters by moving into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Branigan is breathing heavily.
Branigan lands a hook that snaps the head of Dummy backwards.
Branigan lands a shot to the body.
The referee calls for Branigan to work.
Dummy fails to pull guard.
Branigan stalling against the cage.
Dummy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dummy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Branigan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Dummy tries to pull guard but Branigan won't allow it.
The referee calls for Branigan to work.
Branigan keeps control of Dummy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Branigan.
Dummy missing with knees to the body.
Dummy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Branigan is keeping busy.
Dummy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Branigan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Branigan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dummys head.
Branigan blocks an elbow strike.
Branigan stops a takedown attempt from Dummy.

Branigan has picked Dummy up - he's going for a ride! Branigan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Well, if Branigan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dummy manages to get to full guard.

Dummy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Branigan doesn't defend quickly enough and Dummy has managed to lock this one up! Can Branigan escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dummy on a fantastic submission victory.
