Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Tokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hits from the bong - Cypress Hill. Vadim Tokov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vadim Tokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Frost!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost scores with a jab to the jaw.
Frost rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tokov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tokov misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Frost. Those never looked like landing.
Tokov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Frost blocks a jab.

Tokov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Frost!
Tokov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frost on the ground.
Frost manages to get back to half guard.
Tokov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Frost with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tokov not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are battling for position here. Frost manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tokov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tokov distracts Frost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Frost is trying to keep Tokov in close.
Tokov throwing strikes from guard but Frost blocks nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tokov stays in close to Frost's body and controls the position.
Tokov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Frost looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tokov postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tokov throws a big elbow that misses.
Frost trying to keep a closed guard but Tokov is proving a slippery customer.
Tokov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Tokov cracks Frost with a solid left hand.
Frost working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tokov.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tokov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tokov lands a couple of digs.
Tokov chips away with some ground and pound.
Tokov stopping the sweep attempt from Frost.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tokov stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Vadim Tokov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tokov throws a right hand that Frost ducks under and follows up with a left that Frost also avoids with ease.
Frost was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Frost shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tokov eats them both and turns towards Frost to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frost moves out of range of the strikes.
Tokov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Frost under the eye.


It looks like Steven Frost has been cut.
Tokov throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost slips under a jab from Tokov.

Tokov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Frost sprawls well initially but Tokov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Frost gets full guard.

Frost working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tokov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Frost is tightening it up a little... Tokov has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tokov reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tokov taps out! Nice BJJ there by Frost!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Steven Frost!
Steven Frost spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
