Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vade Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Pele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steamboat comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vade Steamboat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Murilo Pele! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pele scores a takedown into full mount! Steamboat tries to reverse the position but Pele maintains control. Pele controlling the position easily from mount. Pele landing strikes, looking to finish! Steamboat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pele sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pele cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pele has control of Steamboat's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Steamboat regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Steamboat is trying desperately to improve position. Pele controlling the position easily from mount. Pele scoring with strikes but Steamboat is staying in there. Pele landing strikes, looking to finish! Pele controlling his opponent. Let's hope that Pele has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steamboat is trying to escape the mount.

Pele has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Steamboat's face.
Steamboat tries to control Pele's body but Pele pushes him off. Steamboat squirms to his side and now Pele has his back! Steamboat tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steamboat is wriggling around trying to escape.
Steamboat is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pele controlling the pace for now. Pele wants to control the pace but Steamboat is squirming around nicely. Steamboat really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Steamboat is working hard here to advance position. Pele working away from the top, dropping strikes. Pele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steamboat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Steamboat really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pele controlling his opponent. Pele manages to capitalize on a mistake by Steamboat to take his back! Pele biding his time, controlling Steamboat. Steamboat looking very determined here, making life difficult for Pele.
Steamboat trying to control the position but Pele manages to sink in the hooks. Steamboat tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Steamboat is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Murilo Pele dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pele tries to clinch but Steamboat is having none of it. Steamboat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Steamboat fails with the takedown and Pele counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pele is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Steamboat throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Steamboat is trying to hold Pele in close to prevent damage but Pele has managed to pass into half guard.
Steamboat actively working from the bottom here. Steamboat is trying to maintain the position but Pele is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pele with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Steamboat on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Pele stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Steamboat to get to his feet. Steamboat checks a low kick from Pele. Steamboat showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pele.
Pele feints and as Steamboat raises his hands in defense, Pele changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pele passes into half guard. Steamboat is looking to improve his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steamboat wants to get back to full guard. Pele perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Steamboat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pele is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Pele trying to control from half guard but Steamboat is working away.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pele has managed to clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pele. Steamboat wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vade Steamboat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pele jumps guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Steamboat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pele looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pele looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pele! Pele has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Pele is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pele wants to clinch. Pele gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Pele lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Steamboat backwards. Pele landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Steamboat tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pele smiles and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steamboat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Horrible takedown by Pele or perhaps it was just good defense by Steamboat which made him look bad. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pele. Murilo Pele has got the better of the ground game so far. Steamboat is looking to reverse the position. Pele is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Steamboat is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pele stands up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pele scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steamboat closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steamboat lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murilo Pele showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Pele is trying to control the action in half guard but Steamboat is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Steamboat trying to control but Pele postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Steamboat had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pele is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Steamboat Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pele's back instead. Pele turns into Steamboat and is now in his guard.
Pele controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Pele pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Steamboat is keeping the position for now. Pele decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Steamboat with a poor takedown and Pele counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pele. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vade Steamboat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pele gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Steamboat lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pele! Steamboat wants to control the pace but Pele is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steamboat goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pele turns into him and now he's in Steamboat's guard.
Steamboat is looking for a triangle here but Pele uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Pele is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steamboat has escaped the position, nice work there. Steamboat is trying to control Pele's posture but Pele avoids it. Steamboat looks to move to half guard but instead Pele has passed into mount! Damn!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pele content just to control the position here. Steamboat manages to regain half guard. Good work. Pele controlling the action here. Steamboat tries to kick Pele off but Pele keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pele escapes and gets back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steamboat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pele counters with a good low kick that Steamboat was not able to check. Vade Steamboat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steamboat with a body punch. A glancing blow. Steamboat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Murilo Pele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pele has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
