Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasco Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Machiavelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by Maurice Jarre - Shogun. Machiavelli has chosen August Burns Red - "11th Hour" as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machiavelli throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rodrigues takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Augustus Machiavelli has been cut.
Rodrigues looks to throw the jab but Machiavelli is out of range.

Rodrigues cracks Machiavelli with an uppercut from hell and Machiavelli crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rodrigues's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
