These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingram takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ingram falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Timma to counter with a crisp jab.
A slow jab from Ingram misses its intended target.
Ingram throws a left and a right that both miss
and Timma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Timma avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Timma ducks under a wild hook from Ingram.
Ingram is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ingram misses with a wild combination.
Timma lands a nice hook to Ingram's body. Ingram takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ingram misses with a right hand
and Timma counters with a stiff right hand.
Ingram slips a jab from Timma.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Timma counters with a nice uppercut.

and Timma counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ingram! Timma lets Ingram back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ingram is rocked!
Ingram drops his hands momentarily. Timma doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ingram staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ingram doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaspars Timma!
