Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatsby closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ragnarson did well to prevent Gatsby getting side control.
Ragnarson tries to roll over but Gatsby keeps him under control.

Gatsby has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ragnarson's face.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gatsby cracks Ragnarson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ragnarson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gatsby finish him?
Ragnarson is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
That has opened up Gustav Ragnarson's cut even more.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gatsby.

and Ragnarson counters with a nice body shot.
Ragnarson seems to have recovered his senses.

Ragnarson wants to control but Gatsby is keeping busy and won't allow it.
