Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Granville Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Endon Sezzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Granville Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Endon Sezzer! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sezzer looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dudley is trying to keep Sezzer in close.
Sezzer with a flurry of punches that miss. Sezzer throws a big elbow that misses. Sezzer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dudley looking for a sweep. Not yet Dudley, not yet. Sezzer content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dudley working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sezzer gets the takedown into side control. Dudley wants to control but Sezzer postures up. Sezzer gets to mount! Dudley was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Sezzer misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Dudley is desperately trying to improve his position but Sezzer has a good base and remains in mount. Sezzer thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Dudley tries to hold on but Sezzer postures up. Dudley is desperately trying to improve his position but Sezzer has a good base and remains in mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dudley manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Dudley, under a barage of strikes from Sezzer.

Sezzer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dudley's guard. Dudley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sezzer controls the pace. Dudley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sezzer's corner is telling him to maintain position. Sezzer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sezzer wants to stand but Dudley is controlling his posture from full guard. Dudley being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sezzer is looking for a kimura but Dudley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sezzer to get the leverage. Sezzer controlling the action here. Sezzer is keen to just control but Dudley is a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sezzer wants to clinch and Dudley counters with a left and a right that stings Sezzer. Sezzer scores with a takedown into Dudley's guard. Dudley trying to control the position.
Dudley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sezzer trying to control but Dudley is working from the bottom. Sezzer trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Dudley manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Dudley wanted to stand there but Sezzer had control of the position. Sezzer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dudley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Sezzer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sezzer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dudley is aware though and is defending well. Sezzer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sezzer pulls Dudley in close to his closed guard and prevents Dudley from doing any damage or advancing position. Dudley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dudley throws a big right hand that misses. Sezzer looking for a sweep. Not yet Sezzer, not yet. Dudley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dudley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dudley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sezzer lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sezzer is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Sezzer. Dudley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sezzer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sezzer lands in his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sezzer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dudley is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Endon Sezzer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Dudley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Sezzer looks to clinch and Dudley counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sezzer is lucky that one didn't land flush. Sezzer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dudley! Dudley is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sezzer is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Dudley is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sezzer wants to control the pace but Dudley is squirming around nicely. Sezzer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sezzer unloads with some shots from mount but Dudley bucks and avoids them well.

Sezzer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dudley is looking to improve his position but Sezzer isn't that keen on the idea.

Granville Dudley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Endon Sezzer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sezzer showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
