Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewitt Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Fischer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dewitt Spencer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Fischer! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fischer feints and as Spencer raises his hands in defense, Fischer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fischer throwing strikes but missing. Spencer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Spencer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fischer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Spencer has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Fischer is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Spencer throws a knee to the head but misses.
Fischer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spencer wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fischer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Spencer was covering up waiting for the punch and Fischer finishes the takedown easily into guard. Spencer is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Fischer presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Fischer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fischer looking to score a takedown here. Spencer is defending well but Fischer drives through and ends up in Spencer's guard. Fischer trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. Spencer thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Spencer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fischer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fischer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fischer stops Spencer from standing up.

Fischer trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. Spencer throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spencer rushes Fischer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fischer decides to pull guard. Spencer won't allow Fischer to sweep him here. Spencer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Spencer connects with a couple of short punches. Fischer has his hands on Spencer's head, controlling the position. Fischer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fischer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spencer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer with a nice head shot there. Spencer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Spencer drops back looking for a leg! Fischer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fischer manages to kick Spencer off! Spencer jumps back into Fischer's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spencer postures up and lands a big shot to Fischer's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dewitt Spencer dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fischer slaps away a takedown attempt from Spencer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fischer scores with a head kick.
It looks like Dewitt Spencer has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Spencer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Spencer tries to sprawl but Fischer drives through with a takedown into half guard. Dewitt Spencer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Fischer seems content to control. Fischer trying to control the action but Spencer is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spencer tries to kick Fischer off but Fischer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer is trying to escape back to his feet but Fischer uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Fischer in side control lands a decent elbow. Spencer sneaks out the side door and pushes Fischer away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Fischer swings for the body but Spencer moves out of range.
Fischer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fischer lands in his opponent's guard. Spencer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fischer defends well. Spencer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fischer's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fischer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fischer wants to sweep but no luck. Spencer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fischer wants to control the position but Spencer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spencer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Spencer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fischer has hold of Spencer's hands but Spencer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ground and pound from Spencer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischer tries to kick Spencer off in order to stand up. Spencer Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Spencer laying and praying for a moment but Fischer takes advantage and regains half guard. Spencer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Spencer is looking for a kimura here.
Fischer works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fischer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Spencer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fischer's head. Spencer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fischer's guard. Spencer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fischer dives on top into guard. Fischer trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fischer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Spencer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. That was a close second round but I would say that Dewitt Spencer will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dewitt Spencer's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Fischer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Spencer to the ground. Fischer is now in Spencer's guard. Spencer is looking to stand back up but Fischer counters by passing into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fischer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dewitt Spencer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fischer throws a chopping leg kick but Spencer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fischer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spencer is trying to defend but Fischer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Spencer manages to escape and get back to his feet! David Fischer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fischer rushes Spencer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fischer tries to break free but Spencer pushes him back against the cage. Fischer jumps into guard, dragging Spencer to the mat.
Spencer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fischer wants to sweep but no luck. Spencer works over Fischer with some ground and pound from guard.

This has been an exciting period of action! Spencer wants to get back to his feet but Fischer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fischer wants to control from the top but Spencer keeps moving. Fischer stands and throws Spencer's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fischer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fischer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spencer wants to get back to his feet but Fischer drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Fischer stands up and we're back to a striking position. Fischer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fischer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Spencer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Fischer crashes against the mat.
The strikes coming from Fischer are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Spencer bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Spencer closes the distance and clinches. Fischer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Spencer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fischer is fending him off so far but Spencer persists. Nope, Fischer circles away and we're back to standing. And Fischer tries to counter it with a takedown but Spencer pushes his down on his head and steps out. Fischer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Spencer back to the cage. Fischer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fischer throws a head kick but Spencer moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! David Fischer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spencer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
