The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castillejo with a poor takedown
and Loris counters with a nice uppercut.
Castillejo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Loris on his heels. He'll look to pass Loris's guard now, I'm sure.
Castillejo is looking to work some ground and pound but Loris has wrist control.
Castillejo lands a couple of elbows.
Castillejo controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castillejo tries to free his leg and advance position but Loris is retaining full guard.

Loris gets caught flat footed, as Castillejo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Castillejo passes Loris's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Loris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Castillejo on the ground.

Loris is looking for a sweep. Castillejo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castillejo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Loris can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Javi Castillejo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
