Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Holohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khal Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holohan comes into the arena with Come out and Fight blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Patrick Holohan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Patrick Holohan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Holohan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Khal Stark! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark's corner calls for a 1-2. Stark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Holohan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stark sprawls well. Stark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Holohan gets slowly back to his feet. Stark lands a jab to the head.
Stark drives through and clinches with Holohan against the cage.
Stark stops a takedown attempt from Holohan.
Holohan blocks an elbow strike. Holohan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Holohan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holohan can't get the takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holohan is looking for a takedown. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stark creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Holohan wants a takedown.
Holohan wants to take the fight to the mat but Stark manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Stark lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark working some nice short punches in the clinch. Stark using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Holohan is looking to take this one to the mat. Holohan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stark is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Stark gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Holohan.
Stark is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stark comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Holohan is rocked!
It looks like Patrick Holohan has been cut. Stark scores with a shot to the side of Holohan's head. Oh Holohan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stark is defending well against a takedown attempt. Stark has Holohan pressed against the cage. He pushes Holohan back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Stark throws a beautiful elbow that sends Holohan crashing to the floor! Stark piles on the pressure with more strikes! Holohan is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khal Stark!
