Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hess comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Demiurge kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jon Hess enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
43 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brick Tires! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
41 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Hess! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tires throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hess checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hess fails in his attempt to clinch. Tires misses with a wild body shot. Hess feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tiress jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Tires has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight. Hess misses with a body shot
and Tires counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Jon Hess has been cut. Hess throws a head kick that misses. Hess lands a high kick!
It looks like Brick Tires has been cut. Hess has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A bone on bone clash there as Tires blocks the leg kick.
Tires dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hess. That did some damage! Tires takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tires misses the body punch and Hess counters with a stiff right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tires misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hess.
Hess throws out a counter right but Tires avoids it with no problem. Hess has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hess there as he acknowledges the shot. Tires stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tires fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hess manages to avoid it. Tires throws a push kick but Hess slaps the foot to one side. It seemed like Hess was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tires throws a shot to the body.
Tires closes the distance and pushes Hess back into the cage. Hess works on Tires's body with a couple of short punches. Hess misses with a punch on the inside.
Hess scores with an uppercut up the middle. Tires swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tires swings wildly with an uppercut but Hess uses good head movement to avoid it. Hess lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tires backwards. Tires takes a shot to the head. Hess swings wildly with an uppercut but Tires uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice body punch from Tires - that landed with a thud.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hess. Tires misses with the head strike.
Hess lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tires backwards. Tires tries to stall but Hess uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch on the inside from Tires fails to land. Hess escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tires turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hess blocks a head kick by Tires.
Hess walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tires checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hess scores with a punch to the head. Hess lands a big head kick that sends Tires tumbling to the mat! Hess takes a step backwards and waves Tires back to his feet - he wants the finish! Hess ducks right into an uppercut from Tires. Tires ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hess moves away. Tires swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tires appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hess throws a front kick aimed at Tires's knee but Tires avoids it well. Tires throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hess counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. An inside leg kick lands from Tires. Tires is looking to clinch. A little jabbing left from Hess on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tires swings for the body but Hess moves out of range.
Hess feints a counter leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hess chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tires closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tires working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hess lands a hook that snaps the head of Tires backwards. Hess misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A left hand lands to the body for Tires.
Tires lands a right hand. Hess unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tires tries to stall but Hess uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hess has a couple of punches blocked by Tires.
Tires tries a body shot but Hess blocks it.
Hess lands an elbow that stopped Tires in his tracks for a moment.
Brick Tires's cut is getting worse. Hess misses with a body punch.
Hess blocks a body shot from Tires. Hess lands a hook that snaps the head of Tires backwards. Hess gets through Tires's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Hess lands with a left to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tires. Hess tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A quick uppercut on the inside from Tires.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tires can't find room to land a body shot as Hess controls the action.
Tires tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hess's elbow. Hess escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tires is looking to wear down Hess with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Tires takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hess scores with a jab. Tires throws a leg kick and Hess counters with a crisp right that sends Tires to the canvas! Hess follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Hess! Jon Hess is the new heavyweight champion! Our winner, Jon Hess, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
