The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rynn.
Rynn throws a big shot that misses.
Rynn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kim lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rynn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rynn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rynn looks to score with a jab to the body but Kim is just out of range.

Kim drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rynn sprawls and moves away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rynn. Kim does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rynn loads up on a big right hand but Kim slips the punch.

Rynn throws a body punch but Kim moves out of range.
Kim misses with a head kick.
Kim throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rynn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rynn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mikaiah Rynn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rynn throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kim counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kim.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Rynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kim working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rynn's head.
Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Rynn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kim is looking to take a break and control but Rynn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kim looking for a submission but Rynn manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rynn throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kim escapes and throws Rynn's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Kim tries for a kimura but Rynn is defending well.

Kim wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rynn, who protects the arm well.

That was a close round but I would say that Roberto Kim will probably get the nod.

Kim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rynn.

Kim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rynn.

Kim wants to control from the top but Rynn keeps moving.
Kim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rynn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rynn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kim prevents Rynn from getting back to his feet.
Kim is working Rynn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Rynn is looking to improve his position.
Kim is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rynn has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kim is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rynn has escaped the position, nice work there.

Rynn wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Kim has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rynn's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rynn is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Kim!
