Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Will Tickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mk Ultra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Tickel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
47 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Mk Ultra!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tickel throws a body punch but Ultra moves out of range.
Tickel shoots in but Ultra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tickel connects with a right hand. Ultra shakes it off.
Tickel swings widly with a right hand
and Ultra counters with a good low kick that Tickel was not able to check.
Tickel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ultra looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tickel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Tickel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ultra looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tickel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ultra is defending against the submission attempts here by Tickel.
Tickel is looking for a kimura but Ultra is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tickel to get the leverage.
Ultra pushes Tickel off looking to stand but Tickel dives back in and keeps control.
Tickel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tickel wants to pass the guard but Ultra is keeping the position.
Tickel advances to half guard.
Tickel is looking to stall here but Ultra recovers full guard.
Tickel passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ultra wants to get back to his feet but Tickel drags him back down.
Tickel lands a few punches from side control.
Tickel advances to mount.
Ultra avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tickel.

Ultra's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Ultra is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Ultra is bucking up trying to escape but Tickel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Tickel misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Tickel throws some wild stikes that Ultra manages to avoid easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tickel lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

and Ultra counters with a good low kick that Tickel was not able to check.
Ultra avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Ultra counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Tickel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ultra throws a big shot that misses.
Tickel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ultra's waist but Ultra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tickel off to one side.
Ultra is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tickel takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Ultra stuffs the takedown attempt from Tickel. Tickel gets slowly back to his feet.
Ultra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ultra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ultra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Tickel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ultra defends well and Tickel ends up having to push Ultra into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tickel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tickel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ultra is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tickel is controlling him well.
Tickel in side control, throwing shots but Ultra defends.

Tickel swings around for an armbar but Ultra sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tickel's guard.
Tickel is trying to keep Ultra in close.
Tickel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tickel looking for a triangle here. Ultra is fighting it but it looks tight! Tickel pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ultra is tapping out - this one is all over!
