Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Mamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamba's entrance music is 2pac-Uppercut . A fine choice. Linhares has chosen Los Sicarios, Sokol, Koras - A veces as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linhares connects with a right hand. Mamba shakes it off.
Linhares scores with a hook to the body. Mamba takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mamba turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mamba throws a leg kick but Linhares checks it.
Linhares throws a series of punches but Mamba avoids them all with ease.
Linhares fails to land with a series of punches.
Mamba works the jab nicely.
It looks like Hector Linhares has been cut.
Linhares throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mamba wants to land a leg kick but Linhares is out of range.
Magnus Mamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And Linhares tries to counter it with a takedown but Mamba pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Mamba sizes up Linhares with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Mamba looks to throw the jab but Linhares is out of range.

Mamba uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Linhares takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mamba attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Linhares finds it's way through Mamba's defenses.
Linhares takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Linhares throws out a loose jab but Mamba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mamba bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Linhares's head.

and Linhares counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Mamba!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Linhares is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mamba sees it coming and defends easily.
Mamba looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Linhares sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mamba defending well though.
Linhares trying to control from half guard but Mamba is working away.
Linhares throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Linhares looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamba wants to control but Linhares is keeping busy.
Mamba is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mamba moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Mamba wants to get back to his feet but Linhares is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Linhares throws a poor cross that misses
and Mamba counters with a thumping low kick.
Mamba slips a jab from Linhares.
That kick from Mamba tenderised Linhares's leg. Linhares is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mamba takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A low kick from Mamba is predictable there
and Linhares counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Linhares drops his shoulder and cracks Mamba with a huge uppercut! Mamba goes down! Can Linhares finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Linhares wants to control from the top but Mamba keeps moving.
Linhares with a flurry of punches that miss.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Linhares accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Linhares wants to control from the top but Mamba keeps moving.
Linhares is fighting to break Mamba's control of his arms but Mamba is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Linhares with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mamba lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Mamba not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Linhares is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Linhares is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mamba rolls with it to try and escape but Linhares cranks on the arm and Mamba is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
