Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stan Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostya Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stan Patrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kostya Tszyu!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tszyu tries for a takedown but Patrick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Patrick drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tszyu sprawls and moves away.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tszyu. Patrick shrugs it off though.
Tszyu shoots for a takedown but Patrick saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Patrick shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tszyu looks winded!
Patrick is taking a breather. Tszyu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Patrick stands up from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patrick checks a leg kick nicely.
Tszyu closes the distance but Patrick moves to the side
and Patrick counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tszyu won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Patrick decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tszyu darts in looking for a takedown but Patrick gets double underhooks and turns Tszyu into the cage.
Stan Patrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kostya Tszyu.
Tszyu with a poor takedown
and Patrick decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tszyu's guard.
Patrick decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tszyu, up you get!
Patrick rushes Tszyu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Patrick has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tszyu uses from the top position.
Patrick is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tszyu has his hands clasped together but Patrick extends and breaks Tszyu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Patrick.
