Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bill Brown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

and Fields counters with a right hand to the body.
Brown shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fields counters with a two punch combo.
Fields doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown fails with the takedown
and Fields counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Troy Fields has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Brown.
Fields thumps Brown with a low kick.

and Fields counters with a left and a right that stings Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fields tries to score a body lock takedown but Brown shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fields tries to break free but Brown pushes him back against the cage.
Brown is trying to drag Fields to the mat but Fields just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fields pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fields moves into the clinch successfully.
Fields is trying to pull guard but Brown turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Bill Brown opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
