Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stotch has chosen boom baby as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyoraku throws a head kick but Stotch moves out of range.
Stotch misses with a head kick.
Stotch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stotch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kyoraku can pounce on him.
Kyoraku gets a clinch.
Stotch prevents a body shot from Kyoraku.
Stotch misses with some punches.
Stotch looking to throw knees to the head but Kyoraku is blocking nicely.
Stotch lands an elbow just above Kyoraku 's eye.
It looks like Shunsui Kyoraku has been cut.

Stotch pushes off an throws an elbow but Kyoraku leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Stotch takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kyoraku tries to score with a low kick but Stotch moves his leg out of the way.
Stotch appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Stotch takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kyoraku scores with a decent looking hook.
Kyoraku lands with a right hand.
Kyoraku scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kyoraku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stotch throws out the jab.

Kyoraku lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stotch circles away quickly and effectively.

Shunsui Kyoraku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stotch tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kyoraku is able to avoid easily.
Kyoraku thuds a left hand into Stotch's body.

That kick from Kyoraku tenderised Stotch's leg. Stotch is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kyoraku gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Kyoraku lands a left and a right that send Stotch crashing to the mat, dazed. Kyoraku thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kyoraku lands an uppercut, right on the button! Stotch tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shunsui Kyoraku!
A relieved looking Shunsui Kyoraku thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
