Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miller Gozu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miller Gozu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lenny Bang!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang tries to land a front kick but Gozu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gozu moves into the clinch.

Gozu jumps guard and drags Bang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gozu dives on top into guard.


Gozu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bang, up you get!
Bang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gozu under the eye.

Gozu gets the takedown into side control.
Bang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gozu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bang seems a little lost for a moment, as Gozu dominates the positioning.
Gozu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bang wants to get back to his feet but Gozu drags him back down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gozu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gozu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Bang throws a right and a left that Gozu avoids nicely.

Bang misses with a kick to the body.
Gozu swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Gozu dodges the punch combination from Bang.
Bang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gozu circles away quickly and effectively.

Gozu clinches.
Gozu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Gozu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gozu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gozu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bang has had enough of the clinch but Gozu keeps him there for the moment.

Bang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Gozu went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A left and a right from Bang both land. Nice combination.
Gozu shoots in but no luck this time.

Gozu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bang fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bang tries to bum rush Gozu with a series of wild strikes but Gozu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gozu shoots in and gets a takedown into Bang's guard.

Gozu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miller Gozu will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Gozu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bang as he jumps to the side.
Lenny Bang seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bang checks a low kick from Gozu.
Bang cracks Gozu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bang scores with a nice strike.

Gozu forces Bang back against the cage and clinches.
Bang is looking to break free of the clinch but Gozu has double underhooks.

Bang throws an elbow that misses. Gozu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bang's guard. Nice move by Gozu!

Gozu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bang sprawls well. Bang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gozu gets slowly back to his feet.

Bang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gozu shoots in but Bang avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gozu rushes Bang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gozu has Bang pressed against the cage, preventing Bang from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Miller Gozu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bang throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Miller Gozu.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gozu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
