Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gege Da (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gege Da had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells just misses with a punch to the body.
Da lunges at Wells with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wells's hand.
Wells throws a looping overhand right but Da ducks down to avoid it.
Gege Da seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da has Wells up against the cage in a clinch.
Wells has had enough of the clinch but Da keeps him there for the moment.
Da pushes Wells back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Da is leaning against Wells and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Da lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Frank Wells has been cut.
Wells manages to break the clinch.
Da takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Da tries to bum rush Wells with a series of wild strikes but Wells uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Da gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wells.
Wells misses with a double jab.

Wells is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Da lands a nice looking body shot.
Da jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Da slips under a jab from Wells.

No joy there for Da, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Da throws an uppercut from hell that sends Wells clean off his feet! He's out cold! Da stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
