Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sher Shah Suri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fynn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Suri walks into a left hand.
Suri looks to land a right hand but Fynn moved out of range.
Suri connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fynn momentarily.


It looks like Bob Fynn has been cut.

Suri closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fynn wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Suri connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fynn some visible discomfort.
Suri in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.


Fynn is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suri misses with the ground and pound.
Fynn parries the strikes from Suri easily there. Suri is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fynn to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fynn is trying to get back to half guard.
Suri scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Fynn is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Suri can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sher Shah Suri!
Sher Shah Suri decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
