Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timo Vesala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vesala might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. Flores has chosen Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco as his entrance music. Ric Flores told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Vesala fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flores manages to avoid it.
Vesala uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flores.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Flores working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timo Vesala.
I think Flores has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
