Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinonen closes the distance but Pending moves to the side
and Pending counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pending tries to pass to full mount but Heinonen defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pending looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pending is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Heinonen still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Heinonen has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
