Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Cervantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervantes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dawson's half guard.

Dawson wants to get back to his feet.
Cervantes tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dawson controls his leg.

and Cervantes counters with a series of strikes. Dawson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cervantes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cervantes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cervantes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Dawson is trying to buck Cervantes off.
Cervantes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dawson, who protects the arm well.
Cervantes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dawson to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dawson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cervantes was well out of range. Poor timing from Dawson.
Dawson leaves Cervantes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Myles Dawson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
