Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Del Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronson comes to the cage accompanied by Harmonica. Del Toro has chosen Bliss as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Charles Bronson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 13 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ernesto Del Toro! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson throws the left hand but Del Toro avoids the punch easily. Del Toro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bronson as he jumps to the side. Del Toro gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bronson connects with the punch. Del Toro shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Del Toro lands with a good body shot. Del Toro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A left and a right from Del Toro both land. Nice combination. Bronson throws a body punch but Del Toro moves out of range. Del Toro has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Del Toro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bronson is trying to defend but Del Toro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Del Toro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson wants to improve his position but Del Toro is controlling well.
Bronson wants to control but Del Toro passes into side.
Bronson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bronson can't do much from the bottom here. Del Toro throws an elbow but Bronson slips to the side and avoids it well. Bronson regains half guard. Del Toro working the head and body with strikes. Del Toro looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronson is looking to improve his position.
Del Toro not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Del Toro not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bronson is looking to control Del Toro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bronson avoid being mounted? Bronson wants to improve his position but Del Toro is controlling well.
Del Toro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Del Toro throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bronson to regain full guard. Bronson has control of Del Toro's left arm, preventing Del Toro from doing any damage. Del Toro with a nice head shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Del Toro throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Del Toro is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Del Toro is working Bronson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Del Toro showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bronson controls Del Toro momentarily but Del Toro frees himself. Del Toro trying to control the position from guard on top but Bronson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bronson pulls Del Toro in close to prevent any damage. Del Toro throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bronson holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Del Toro moves out of range of the leg kick from Bronson. Del Toro takes a swing at Bronson's ribcage but misses. Bronson throws out a loose jab but Del Toro uses good head movement to avoid it. Bronson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Del Toro manages to avoid it. Bronson throws a leg kick that misses. A big right from Bronson misses. Bronson misses the shot to the body. Charles Bronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bronson, right into the meat.
Bronson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And Del Toro responds with a good body kick, but Bronson manages to step out the way in time. Bronson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Bronson wants to land a leg kick but Del Toro is out of range. Bronson misses with a lunging right hand
and Del Toro counters with a low kick, right behind Bronson 's knee.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Bronson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bronson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bronson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bronson throws a leg kick and Del Toro counters with a takedown into side control. Bronson dodges the ground and pound from Del Toro. Del Toro misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bronson struggling a bit here. Bronson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bronson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Del Toro. Del Toro tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Del Toro looks up at the clock and then as Bronson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Del Toro smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bronson wants to control but Del Toro postures up. Bronson taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bronson defending against the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bronson parries the strikes from Del Toro easily there. Del Toro is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bronson to escape.
The ground and pound from Del Toro seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Del Toro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bronson keeps working. Del Toro fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bronson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Del Toro misses with the ground and pound. Del Toro lands an elbow. Del Toro is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bronson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Bronson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bronson wants to control but Del Toro postures up. Bronson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Del Toro.
Del Toro throwing shots but missing, from side control. Del Toro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Del Toro connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bronson some visible discomfort.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Del Toro lands a strong strike to the head of Bronson. That's dazed him! Del Toro looking to finish here. Bronson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Del Toro lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernesto Del Toro! Post fight, an emotional Ernesto Del Toro said 'you want me to beat the crap out of you?'.
