Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akira Hendrix!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grim tries for a takedown but Hendrix circles away easily
and Hendrix connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hendrix looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Grim doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hendrix connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Grim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grim trying to control the action but Hendrix is working from the bottom.
Grim looking to control but instead Hendrix has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grim sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hendrix defending well though.
Grim throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Grim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hendrix's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hendrix is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Grim wants to control from the top but Hendrix keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hendrix looking for a sweep. Not yet Hendrix, not yet.
Hendrix wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grim fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Grim. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Hendrix counters with a nice body shot.
Grim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hendrix sprawls well. Hendrix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grim gets slowly back to his feet.
Hendrix throws out a counter right but Grim avoids it with no problem.
Hendrix darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hendrix lunges at Grim with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Grim's hand.

Grim shoots and misses
and Hendrix cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Grim dives in for a single leg takedown but Hendrix sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Grim is breathing heavily.
Grim is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hendrix doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Grim crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Grim's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Akira Hendrix!
Akira Hendrix bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
