Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hede Hede shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wex pinned against the cage. Wex gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wex lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hede Hede moves out of range of the body kick from Wex.
Wex misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hede Hede moves out of range of the body kick.
Wex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hede Hede shoots in looking for a takedown. Wex tries to sprawl out of it but Hede Hede keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wex manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wex thows a body shot but no joy.

It looks like Haydar Hede Hede has been cut.
A jab from Wex finds it's way through Hede Hede's defenses.
Hede Hede has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hede Hede has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Hede Hede is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wex doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hede Hede.

Wex knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hede Hede on the ground.

Hede Hede seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wex does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Hede Hede or perhaps it was just good defense by Wex which made him look bad.

Wex feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hede Hede's calf.
Wex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hede Hede moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wex throws a sloppy head kick and Hede Hede moves out of range easily.

Hede Hede chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wex can pounce on him.
Hede Hede takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Hede Hede counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wex!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hede Hede working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Wex turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hede Hede off and cradles Wex's limp body as Hede Hede celebrates with his corner.
