Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Pluckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stump Whacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pluckerman comes to the cage accompanied by The Wurzels - Pheasant Pluckers Son. Stump Whacker looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Pluckerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stump Whacker! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whacker wants to clinch up but Pluckerman keeps it at a distance. Pluckerman gets caught flat footed, as Whacker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Pluckerman wants to sweep but no luck. Pluckerman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Whacker trying to control the position from guard on top but Pluckerman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pluckerman wants to improve his position but instead Whacker has moved into half guard.
Whacker stalling away here and it's allowed Pluckerman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Pluckerman trying to control the position.
Whacker stands up and waves to Pluckerman to follow him. Stump Whacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pluckerman wants to clinch up but Whacker keeps it at a distance. Pluckerman tries to clinch there but Whacker circles away.

Whacker wants to clinch but Pluckerman slips to the side and Pluckerman counters with a body kick that stops Whacker in his tracks momentarily. Pluckerman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pluckerman closes the distance but Whacker moves to the side and Whacker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pluckerman won't be happy with that. Pluckerman wants to control but Whacker postures up. Whacker cracks Pluckerman with a big elbow. Whacker decides to stand back up. Whacker looks gassed! Pluckerman moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whacker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Whacker prevents Pluckerman from breaking the clinch. Pluckerman lands a nice knee to the body. Whacker gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Pluckerman regains guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Whacker is looking to advance position but Pluckerman has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Pluckerman controlling from the full mount. Pluckerman trying to control but he's not successful this time. Pluckerman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Whacker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pluckerman wants to control the action but instead Whacker gets a body lock and reverses into Pluckerman's guard! Nice work! Pluckerman looking for a guillotine here but Whacker defends easily.
Whacker wants to control from the top but Pluckerman keeps moving. Pluckerman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Whacker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Whacker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pluckerman can't keep his opponent in guard - Whacker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Whacker prevents Pluckerman from standing back up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pluckerman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Whacker scores with a couple of nice shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Whacker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pluckerman! Pluckerman tries to hold on but Whacker pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Whacker pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Pluckerman is rocked!
It looks like Karl Pluckerman has been cut. Pluckerman tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stump Whacker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Karl Pluckerman's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Pluckerman fails to land the takedown. Whacker throws a leg kick and Pluckerman counters with a nice leg kick. Pluckerman misses with a kick to the body.
Whacker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pluckerman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Whacker lands a couple of digs. Pluckerman wants to sweep but no luck. Whacker trying to control but Pluckerman is working from the bottom. Pluckerman wriggles free and stands up. Pluckerman clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pluckerman tries for a takedown. No joy.

Whacker is breathing heavily. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pluckerman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Pluckerman successfully pulls guard.
Pluckerman wants to stand and escape but Whacker is having none of it. Whacker is in close to Pluckerman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Pluckerman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Whacker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Whacker scoring with punches to the head and body. Whacker slips nicely into half guard. Pluckerman looking for subs from the bottom but Whacker mounts him! Pluckerman is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stump Whacker has got the better of the ground game so far. Whacker avoids the attempt from Pluckerman to control. Pluckerman is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pluckerman is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Pluckerman blocking the ground and pound. Pluckerman wants to hold on but Whacker pushes him away. Pluckerman bucks Whacker off and manages to get back to his feet! Karl Pluckerman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pluckerman shoots and misses and Whacker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Pluckerman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Whacker stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Pluckerman throws up his legs and catches Whacker in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Whacker tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Pluckerman! That came out of nowhere!
