The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Loo is looking to take a break and control but Stein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Stein's face as Loo controls the position.
Stein is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Loo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Loo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stein escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stein pulls Loo in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Loo shoots in and gets a takedown into Stein's guard.
