The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jawed throws a combination that misses and Santana counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Santana is breathing heavily. Jawed has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jawed jumps guard.
Jawed pulls Santana in close to prevent any damage. Santana pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jawed is keeping the position for now. Jawed scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santana is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Jawed moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
