Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mignon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mignon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A combination from Mignon does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mignon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bulger eats them both and turns towards Mignon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like John Bulger has been cut.
Bulger misses with a wild combination.
Mignon is looking to clinch.
Bulger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mignon.
Mignon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mignon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mignon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bulger throws a body shot but no joy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mignon drops Bulger with a beautiful combination! Bulger stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mignon is looking for the KO!

Mignon gets tackled into the cage by Bulger. Bulger maintains the clinch.

Bulger lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Mignon struggles to land a body shot inside as Bulger controls his hands.
Bulger misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bulger is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mignon can't fight it off and eventually Bulger manages to take the fight to the floor. Mignon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bulger cracks Mignon with a solid left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bulger postures up and lands a big shot to Mignon's brow.
Bulger works over Mignon with some ground and pound from guard.
Bulger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mignon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bulger working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mignon's head.

Bulger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bulger arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mignon's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Bulger!
After the fight, John Bulger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
